Nitesh Tiwari’s name resonates in the Indian Advertising’s hall of fame. An engineering graduate from IIT-Bombay, Nitesh has been with advertising for the love of it. He has worked on a wide range of brands and has won numerous award in India and abroad for his work. He is a writer-director par excellence with affinity towards stories with a soul. Nitesh Tiwari held the positon of Chief Creative Officer, India at Leo Burnett prior to him venturing out as an ad-film and feature film director. Nitesh Tiwari’s debut feature film ‘Chillar Party’, won the National Award in 2012. He went on to direct Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Bhootnath Returns’ in 2014 and his third feature ‘Dangal’ starring Aamir Khan has been the biggest blockbuster of 2016. Not surprisingly, he won the Filmfare Best Director of 2016 Award.
When not glued on behind the camera, Nitesh is glued on to sports on TV. His love for travel and sports takes him to places where he would spend his time watching matches. A mime artist and amateur banjo player, he does not mind being a house husband, writing and spending time with his twin children and becoming one of them.
